The visual communication developed for the space of the Itaú Cultural’s permanent art and history museum applied the principles used in the visual identity, such as the spatial interpretation of the basic layout of a book’s page, with its texts, images, header/footer, page number etc. It fulfils the curator’s desire of providing the visitor different possible readings of the exhibition’s content. The use of lines in the whole visual communication is both structural and graphic, enabling multiple compositions. The art museum is curated by Pedro Corrêa do Lago and Vagner Porto (numismatics), with exhibition design by Daniela Thomas and Felipe Tassara.
