Description

The visual identity developed for Itaú Cultural’s permanent art and history museum has as main principle the interpretation of the basic layout of a book’s page, with its texts, images, header/footer, page number etc. The use of lines in the whole visual communication is both structural and graphic, enabling multiple compositions. The brochure took as reference the principles used in the exhibition of taking out all frames from the art pieces and leaving them apparently suspended in space and in multiple layers. The art museum is curated by Pedro Corrêa do Lago and Vagner Porto (numismatics), with exhibition design by Daniela Thomas and Felipe Tassara.
