Música de Chuteiras

Música de Chuteiras [The Music of Soccer Cleats] was an exhibition about music related to the World Cups, from national anthems to popular songs, including both international and Brazilian production. The design gives the songs form and spatial presence. With this aim, the text was composed in a way that simulates a crowd singing in a soccer stadium, setting each line of text very close to each other in an irregular path. The sentences chosen were selected from popular lyrics to offer the audience a sense of familiarity and belonging. Exhibition design by Alvaro Razuk and Isa Gebara.
