The exhibition Picasso and the Spanish Modernity took place at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), both in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. With around 90 works from the collection of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, it shows the influence of Picasso in modern Spanish art and his relationship with other masters, such as Gris, Miró, Dalí, Domínguez and Tàpies. The visual communication removes from the walls the captions of the works and moves them to the structure built by the exhibition designers in the ground, thus ensuring the necessary distance from the public to guarantee the safety of the artworks. In São Paulo, a large mobile filling the void of the building, and a maze at the rotunda in Rio de Janeiro were both used to display the name of the exhibition and the list of the 36 artists participating in the show.
