Pivô Magazine

The first issue of Pivô Magazine features a major reflection on the artist residency programme promoted by Pivô since 2013 [Pivô Research] and the institution’s role in serving artists and disseminating the content of this programme. The magazine also features different sections with critical texts by guest authors and visual and written essays by artists. Two typefaces were chosen for the magazine, the serif font Tiempos and the sans-serif Graphik, used respectively for the texts in Portuguese and English. The titles are used in a large body of text and arranged quite freely throughout the pages. The publication alternates black and white backgrounds to create an interesting reading rhythm for the public. Magazine edited by Camila Bechelany and Fernanda Brenner.
