Viagem com um burro pelas Cevenas

The graphic design of this book was intended, from the choice of the cover material that simulates the skin of an animal, to bring the reader closer to the experience narrated in the book: the story of Stevenson’s journey through the Cévennes, accompanied by the female donkey Modestine. Inside the book, the layout of the text – aligned only by the outer margins, without breaking the paragraphs – recreates the visual universe of the trip, causing the reader to scroll through the pages of the book as following a path, punctuated by curves, ascents, descents, narrows, lowlands.
